This funding is provided through individual and corporate donations, special.About the Role:Reporting to the Director of Finance (DoF), the Finance Manager will be tasked with supporting the day-to-day maintenance and integrity of the organization's general ledger by primarily auditing revenue activity added to the donor database and preparing monthly reconciliations. Primary Responsibilities:Review revenue activity (audit of Raiser's Edge gift processing entries) daily to ensure accuracy and propose corrections if necessary. Prepare bank deposits using the RDC machine. Prepare month-end journal entries. Prepare monthly balance sheet and revenue reconciliations. Prepare monthly bank account reconciliations. Assist with the preparation and analysis of budget to actual reports.Assist with the preparation of quarterly financial statements. Assist in the preparation of annual audit schedules, statements, procedures, and documentation requested by the external auditors.Assist with the creation of processes and procedures manual.Maintain necessary reports with state and local agencies by overseeing state registration and renewals with outsourced attorney's office. Ongoing education regarding new regulations affecting the organization and implementation of procedures to conform to these regulations.Assist with and present at the annual Finance Department workshop.
