Description About the Role:We are looking to hire a highly motivated Senior Accountant to join our growing team at BFA who is able to handle multiple projects or tasks simultaneously with excellent attention to detail. The position reports to the Senior Accounting Manager and works closely with all departments within the company.Are you someone who thrives and enjoys working in a dynamic environment to support our continued growth? If so, we want to hear from you!What You'll Be Doing:Prepare and analyze complex and a high volume of journal entries.Maintain and balance accounts by verifying, allocating, posting, reconciling transactions; resolving discrepanciesEstimate, analyze, and record month-end expense accruals to expense ledger accounts and balance sheet accountsDrive expense reporting process and procure-to-pay process to facilitate close and department expense analysis and is responsible for the resultsMaintain the general ledger by preparing a trial balance and reconciling entriesSummarize financial result status by collecting information; preparing balance sheet, profit and loss, and other financial statementsAssist with the external audit by analyzing and scheduling general ledger accounts; providing information to auditorsSupport external audit requirements related to specific areas of responsibilitySupport in improving the Company's existing accounting procedures and internal control and seek opportunities to improve accounting operational efficiency and effectivenessDevelop, implement and maintain key policies and procedures for your area of responsibilitiesPerform special projects as assignedWhat We are Looking For:Minimum 4 years of accounting experienceBachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, CPA (Preferred). Public and private industry experience is a plus.Excellent understanding of US GAAP standardsRetail or e-commerce experience is preferredResponsible for general ledger accounting processesExperience with ERP systems. Netsuite is a plus.Strong communication skills, both written and verbal needed to develop collaborative working relationships with cross-functional teamAdvanced Microsoft Excel skills (pivot tables, Vlookup, Sumif, etc.) and the ability to quickly manipulate and analyze large data sets and build reportsWork effectively and efficiently in a fast-paced environmentDetail-oriented and organizedA positive, proactive, fun, and team-focused attitudeBonus if You Have:Possess a strong analytical mind and able to juggle multiple tasks while meeting hard deadlinesYou want to make an impact.
