Job Description Job Description POSITION SUMMARY Coordinate all
Business Office Director functions to ensure cohesive and efficient
operations. Schedule will be Monday - Friday, 9am-5pm. Travel will
be 10%-20%. We are open to candidates in all states, preferable
Central or Eastern time zone. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The following duties are normal for this position. This list is not
to be construed as exclusive or all inclusive. Other duties may be
required and assigned. Process resident move-ins, move-outs, and
transfers for submission to Central Billing Manage all move-out
collection efforts, including bad debt recovery and refund
processing Maintain a thorough understanding of key financial and
operational systems, including: Billing and collection processes
and tracking systems Cash control procedures Accounts payable
processing Expense Management System (EMS) Labor Management System
(LMS) Monthly financial statements Management and operational
reporting ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES Carries out responsibilities
in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.
Responsibilities include coordinating the training employees;
ensuring policies and procedures are understood and carried out
within the communities. QUALIFICATIONS To perform this job

Requirements and Experience : Bachelors degree in Accounting or
Business preferred Five or more years’ experience as a Business
Office Manager Experience with CRM software Experience with daily
BOM procedures Knowledge of licensure of an assisted living
community a plus Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Language Ability:
Ability to communicate effectively in writing and verbally in the
primary language of the residents Ability to read, analyze, and
interpret common scientific and technical journals, financial
reports, and legal documents. Ability to respond to common
inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or
members of the business community Ability to effectively present
information to top management, public groups, and/or boards of
directors Mathematical Skills: Ability to work with mathematical
concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and
fundamentals of plane and solid. Ability to apply concepts such as
fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical
situations Cognitive Demands: Ability to solve practical problems
and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where
only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety
of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule
form Computer Skills: Ability to use Microsoft Windows, including
Word and Excel. Ability to use email and the Internet. Ability to
use accounting and payroll software Competencies: Must demonstrate
an interest in working with a senior population Interacts with
guests, residents and staff in a courteous and friendly manner
Responds promptly to resident needs Supports organization's goals
and values Balances team and individual responsibilities Manages
people effectively by taking responsibility for subordinates'
activities; makes self available to staff; provides regular
performance feedback; develops subordinates' skills and encourages
growth; improves processes, products and services Provides

and motivates others to perform well Must be detail oriented and
complete tasks accurately ENVIRONMENTAL ADAPTABILITY Works
primarily indoors in a climate controlled setting. Frequent travel
to the Discovery Communities is required – up to 75% travel.
Possible high stress levels in relation to working under deadlines
and within budget constraints. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS The physical
demands described below are representative of those that must be

abilities required by this job include close vision, depth
