Job Description:

The Office Manager is responsible for managing the administrative department consisting of 25 employees, including the front desk/reception, patient counselors, and administrative support team ensuring administrative staff are properly selected, trained, and managed; responsible for answering phones, greeting patients, collecting and entering information, and billing and collection for services. Maintain patient education and communication /follow up programs and processes, ensuring that all patient exams and testing is appropriately scheduled, performed and documented; overseeing the ABN and informed consent process ; invoicing and collection of payments, inventory control for operational supplies; refractive development and implementation of Quality Assurance programs; ensuring compliance for patient and staff safety; and performing quarterly chart audits and communicating recommendations for process improvement. This individual will work in conjunction with the Clinical and Surgical Team Manager to create staff schedules and to maximize physician schedules, with a primary focus on providing the best possible patient experience.
