Raton About the Role The role of the candidate is to provide
technical knowledge and on-hands troubleshooting with product
problems. The Level II employee will receive direction from upper
management. The role also means the employee is expected to apply
their experience to more complicated tasks, building upon
experience to further expand on their knowledge base. It is
important that the employee has motivation and good social skills,
interacts well with others, and willing to ask for help, if needed.
Finally the employee must be able work with limited supervision
once given a specific task. Finally in this role you will be
required to solve a complexity two problem. Provides operational,
maintenance and troubleshooting skills to Canon High speed
production printers. This is possible by using prior experience in
the areas of mechnical, electrical and industrial engineering
disciplines, although a specific degree is not required Your Impact
- Providing troubleshooting skills to "printer down" instances. -
Providing Preventive maintenance, installing FCO's, and keeping the
printers in operational ready condition. - Meeting the quality
standards necessary for the device to perform at customer
requirement. - Performing routine maintenance, troubleshooting
hardware and software problems, and repairing malfunctioning
printers. Identifying and resolving issues related to printer
functionality, including paper jams/paper breaks, connectivity
issues and print quality requirements. - Providing technical
assistance by offering guidance on proper usage and troubleshooting
tips in the event of a error condition on the device. - Maintaining
printer consumables, which include inks, papers, cleaners and etc.
- Working with others to ensure the total readiness of the specific
device. - An understanding of different printer types and their
components. - Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and techniques
to identify and resolve printer problems. - Awareness of safety
regulations and environmental considerations related to printer
maintenance and disposal. - To understand the theory of operation
of production print systems and the ability to effectively operate
production print systems. finally, actively communicating problems,
resolutions, and maintenance tasks with all concerned parties. A
complexity 2 problem should take 2 hours to solve, so given a fault
on a printing device, that is a C2 problem, you will be able solve
it in 2 hours or less. About You: The Skills & Expertise You Bring
Please note: this is a customer-facing role, and requires
compliance with customer policies and protocols, which may include
COVID-19 vaccination and other measures relating to COVID-19. We’re
looking for a dedicated individual with: - Associates degree in
electronics or electrical engineering capacity from an accredited
college or technical school or equivalent experience. Associates
degree in mechanical or mechanical engineering capacity from an
accredited college or technical school or equivalent experience.HS
Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience required, plus 1 to 2 years
of related experience. - A basic understanding of internet
environments and the ability to complete the 120-day introductory
period and the PDIF (Printing and Digital Imaging Foundations)
new-hire class. - - Requires some travel (valid driver's license
and acceptable driving record necessary - The capability to work in
a 24/7 environment, while performing shift work and on-call
rotations. - Required to take all necessary steps to obtain
security and/or other clearances required by customers to enter the
customers’ premises. - Must be able to lift 50 pounds and be active
more than 50 percent of the time (walking, standing,
stooping/kneeling). We are providing the anticipated base salary
