Job Description Job Description WE'RE ACTIVELY HIRING A CNC LATHE MACHINIST ON FIRST SHIFT TO JOIN OUR GROWING TEAM IN RIVIERA BEACH, FL! If you have experience working as a CNC Machinist and have been responsible for setting up & operating lathe machinery, email me directly at chsamson@aerotek .com Responsibilities Select appropriate tools, load materials, monitor the machining process, inspect finished parts for quality and accuracy, and perform routine machine maintenance. Prepare materials for cutting, including measuring, marking, and securing them on the cutting bed. Operate and program CNC precision lathes, specifically those with Okuma controls. Set up tooling, program, and operate Okuma Lathe 2020 with Okuma controls. Read blueprints and work orders; operate drills and grinders. Check parts dimensions with appropriate measuring instruments to ensure that parts meet specifications. Troubleshoot malfunctions in computer-controlled machines. Inspect finished products for accuracy and quality. Conduct daily or weekly inspections of equipment to identify any potential issues early. Adjust equipment to ensure accurate measurements and operations.
