Job Description Job Description We are seeking a highly skilled Marine Fiberglass / Gelcoat Technician with a minimum of five (5) years of professional marine experience . This position is dedicated exclusively to marine applications , including hulls, decks, and related structural components. Advanced gelcoat color-matching ability is required. Key Responsibilities: Perform high-quality fiberglass repairs on marine vessels, including hulls, decks, and structural elements Apply, repair, and finish marine gelcoat to industry and yacht-quality standards Accurately color-match gelcoat to ensure seamless, undetectable repairs Sand, fair, buff, and polish repaired areas to a consistent finish Conduct quality inspections to ensure durability, appearance, and compliance with standards Maintain a clean, organized, and safety-compliant work environment Required Qualifications: Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in marine fiberglass and gelcoat repair Demonstrated proficiency in marine gelcoat color matching Strong knowledge of marine resins, materials, and repair methodologies Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to craftsmanship Professional demeanor, reliability, and strong work ethic Preferred Qualifications: Yacht repair or production boat manufacturing experience Spray gelcoat application experience Structural fiberglass repair expertise The Boat House is a drug-free workplace.
