Summary: The Assistant Program Director will be responsible for
providing direct consumer services, clinical oversight of staff,
and responsible for Medicaid billing services and oversight for
Healthy Start. Essential Job Functions: + Maintains and manages a
Healthy Start counseling/Moving Beyond Depression (MBD) caseload +
Provides clinical supervision to other Healthy Start therapists +
Reviews clinical documentation of other Masters level counselors
via Well Family System (WFS) and RedCap databases. + Ensures
accuracy in coding and documentation for direct service staff +
Completes and provides oversight related to Medicaid billing +
Conducts initial assessments, and care coordination services to
Healthy Start consumers, including home visits, as needed +
Provides wrap around services/education to Healthy Start consumers
as needed, including parenting, childbirth, breastfeeding,
Inter-conceptional care, tobacco cessation, and/or psychosocial
counseling services + Conducts telephone calls and home visits
outside of regular business hours as needed, to establish contact
with consumers + Maintains consumer records in compliance with
agency, state, Joint Commission, Agency for Health Care
Administration (AHCA), Florida Department of Health (FDOH) and
other rules and standards, guidelines, and regulations. + Ensures
compliance with Healthy Start Standards and Guidelines + Serves as
Acting Director in the absence of Director of Early Intervention &
Prevention. Essential Qualifications: Certifications/Licensures: +
Must hold active professional licensure in the state of florida in
the field of mental health, social work, or similar-like field.
(LCSW, LMHC, LMFT) Education: + Graduation from an accredited
graduate school with a masters degree in psychology, social work,
or similar-like field required. Experience and Competencies: + A
minimum of two years of experience providing services to target
population. + Bilingual is preferred + CPR Certification, First Aid
Certification and an annual Tuberculosis test. + Ability utilize
Microsoft Office Software Suite + Ability to provide an Affidavit
of Good Moral Character + Clearance in Pre-Employment Drug Testing
and Criminal Records Checks, as required. During your tenure with
WestCare there may be new requirements, including, but not limited
to vaccinations that are issued by local, State, Federal, and/or
Funders that WestCare may have to comply with. Should this occur
Human Resources or appropriate personnel will inform you. WestCare
