Technician II - Pharmacy - FT NIGHTS - $2500 Sign on Bonus - MHW: Pharmacy - Pembroke Pines, FL ---- Summary:The registered and certified pharmacy technician II works under the direct supervision of licensed pharmacists to provide distributive pharmacy services and support to the pharmacy department. Additionally, provides a high level of assistance in distribution, dispensing, and compounding of sterile and non-sterile medications, and related supplies in compliance with accreditation, legal, regulatory, and safety requirements. -- Detailed responsibilities:--- Competent and skilled to perform all duties of Technician I.--- Performs sterile compounding, including limited hazardous medications in accordance with regulatory requirements.--- Assists with process improvement and continuous quality and safety monitoring initiatives.--- Assists with procurement of medications and supplies through various ordering platforms.--- Able to perform all activities per pharmacy technician scope of practice Competencies and skills:Essential:--- STANDARDS OF BEHAVIOR: Acts in a manner that supports the standards of communication, respect, privacy, and teamwork by demonstrating a commitment to professional and ethical conduct. --- CUSTOMER SERVICE: Demonstrates commitment to service excellence by promptly addressing internal/external customer issues/requests, resolving concerns while maintaining a professional image and behavior to build and enhance the patient/family/customer experience.--- ACCOUNTABILITY: Accepts ownership of job roles and specific assignments/goals; works independently, takes responsibility for own actions; admits mistakes and judgment errors; and accepts constructive feedback.
