Our facility is currently looking for an experienced Mammography Technologist to join our team and perform diagnostic examinations to ensure the quality and continuity of patient care. Akumin provides competitive salaries with bonus program.Mammography Technologist / Mammography Tech The Mammography Technologist will:+ Assist with the workflow of the department to ensure the completion of work assignments; + Demonstrate knowledge, understanding, and competency in clinical area of the practice;+ Demonstrate the ability to use all channels of communication to address inter- and intradepartmental concerns, solve problems, and address conflict. + Performs and maintains all quality assurance/controls required by any accreditation and state rules/regulations (if applicable).+ Comply with clinical accreditation and licensing requirements for the facility and technologist, as well as submission deadlines+ Assist with clinical accreditation applications and inspections+ Other duties as assignedMammography Technologist / Mammography Tech Qualified candidates will have:+ Radiological mammographic procedures is required;+ ARRT Certification RT (R) (M) required+ CPR certification is required+ State license required for radiation (if applicable)+ The COVID-19 vaccination is/may be a condition of employment.Education+ Completion of an accredited ARRT program and at least 1 year Mammography experience.+ Advanced modality certification is required.Other Skills and Abilities+ Familiarity with current software packages such as Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, HIS/RIS and PACS.ID: 2022-7657 Updated Date: 4/28/2022 Street: 3800 Johnson Street Hours: Fridays 8am-5:30pm/ Saturdays 8-2pm External Company URL: http://akumin.com/
