Technician I - Pharmacy - PT FLEX - $1250 Sign On Bonus - MHW:
Pharmacy - Pembroke Pines, FL ---- Summary:The registered pharmacy
technician I works under the direct supervision of licensed
pharmacists to provide distributive pharmacy services and support
to the pharmacy department. Additionally, provides a high level of
assistance in distribution, dispensing, and compounding of
non-sterile medications, and related supplies in compliance with
accreditation, legal, regulatory, and safety requirements. --
Detailed responsibilities:--- Maintains and supports medication
distribution systems and distribution channels, including automated
dispensing cabinets, code carts, trays and kits.--- Prepares,
fills, receives, delivers, stocks and restocks medication inventory
and supplies for the pharmacy department and drug storage areas.
Repackages bulk medications.--- Assists with customer service and
patient needs, including answering telephones, managing work queues
and completing medication histories.--- Prepares non-sterile
compounded medications, including hazardous medications and cross
trains in more advance functions when deem appropriate--- Performs
prescription data entry in pharmacy system when applicable.---
Process medication charges/credits when applicable.--- Responsible
for assiting with orientation and training of new pharmacy
technicians and students students.--- Completes other
responsibilities as assigned in support of pharmacy operations and
within the pharmacy technician scope of practice. Competencies and
