We currently have an opportunity for a Massage Therapist for our Pembroke Pines location.
Primary Responsibilities:

• 
  
• Responsible for performing therapeutic massages of soft tissue and joints to relieve discomfort, decrease muscle tension, and assess range of motion and muscle strength as prescribed by the treating physician.
  
• Escorts patient to and from treatment area.
  
• Prepares area and patient for treatment.
  
• Confers with patients about symptoms, medical history, and desired results.
  
• Maintains the proper documentation of services performed in the Electronic Health Records software.
  
• Operates the equipment efficiently.
  
• Schedules and confirms patients for follow up appointments.
  
• Responsible for towel laundry, folding, and storage.
  
• Maintains supplies.
  
• Maintains a daily temperature log sheet for the Glacier Chilling, Paraffin and Hydro collator Machine.
  
• Cleans and disinfects treatment tables, equipment, and equipment after each use and at the end of the day.
  
  Experience/Qualifications:
  
  • 
    
  • High School diploma or GED equivalent from an accredited institution.
    
  • Three yeas of experience in healthcare or combination of education and experience.
    
  • Valid Massage Therapist License required.
    
  • Completed or enrolled in an accredited academic credit program in Health/Well ness Science, Sports Medicine, Exercise Science, Personal Fitness Training or related field.
    
  • Previous experience in healthcare environment and medical terminology.
    
  • Experience with electronic health record software is preferred.
    
  • CPR or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification for Healthcare Providers from American Red Cross preferred.
    
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred.
    
    Schedule: Monday to Friday; 8-hour shift; flexible schedule
