Shift: Day Shift Hours per Shift: 10.5 hours Experience: Minimum 2

Experience circulating in Orthopedics, general surgery, and
vascular surgery. Ability to adapt to a fast-paced unit and
demonstrate a strong commitment to teamwork. Capability to function
independently and take initiative without direct supervision.
Description: Unit Information: Number of Beds: 7 Number of Staff: 2
full-time RNs, 1 part-time RN, 1 PRN RN, 4 full-time Scrub Techs, 3
full-time Orderlies, 1 full-time scheduler, 1 ORD, 1 equipment
tech. Day Shift Staffing: 3 RNs (2 full-time and supplemented with
PRN and part-time) 4 full-time scrub techs 3 full-time orderlies 1
full-time scheduler 1 ORD 1 equipment tech Night Shift Staffing:
Call only Patient Ratios: 1 RN 1 OR Tech per room Type of
Equipment: Mako for orthopedic cases Documentation System: Meditech
Call Requirements: 1 week of call, rotated among other nurses.
Typical Procedures Performed: Orthopedics (total joints,
shoulder/knee scopes, fractures) Podiatry General surgery (e.g.,
laparoscopic, open) AV fistula creation Hand surgeries Additional
Preferences: Experience in circulating and performing orthopedic,
general surgery, and vascular surgery is essential. Candidates
should be adaptable to a fast-paced environment and exhibit a
strong commitment to teamwork. The ability to function
independently and anticipate upcoming needs is preferred. Dress
