Position Summary: Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients, adhering to professional nursing standards, policies, and procedures. Assess patient needs, develop, and implement individualized care plans to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Administer medications, treatments, and therapies as prescribed by healthcare providers. Monitor and document patient progress, including vital signs, symptoms, and changes in medical conditions. Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare team members to coordinate and provide continuity of care. Educate patients and their families about treatment plans, medications, and self-care techniques. Respond to emergency situations and perform life-saving interventions promptly and accurately. Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records of patients' health history, treatment plans, and progress. Adhere to infection control protocols and ensure a safe and healthy environment for patients and staff. Stay current with advances in nursing practices and attend training programs and continuing education to enhance professional development. Qualifications : 1. Valid and current RN license in the state of Florida. 2. Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) or Associate degree in Nursing (ADN) from an accredited nursing program. 3. Home Health experience preferred 4. BLS (Basic Life Support) 5. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare professionals. 6. Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities to make timely and appropriate decisions in emergencies or complex situations. 7. Compassionate and patient-centered approach to provide comprehensive care to diverse patient populations. 8. Proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR) and computer literacy.
