Department: LPG GME IM CAPE Work Type: Full Time Shift: Shift 1/ to
Minimum to Midpoint Pay Rate: $1.00 - $358.55 / hour Summary As we
expand our Internal Medicine Residency Program at Lee Health, we
are seeking a Faculty Physician to join our team. This role
involves providing clinical patient care and mentoring residents,
while also serving as an expert competency evaluator. The Faculty
Physician will work closely with the Program Director and Associate
Program Director to develop and implement the resident evaluation
system. By exemplifying professionalism and a commitment to safe,
quality, and cost-effective patient-centered care, this position
will play a crucial part in shaping the future of our residency
program. Requirements Educational Requirements Degree/Diploma
Obtained Program of Study Required/ Preferred and/or M.D. (Doctor
of Medicine) Required or D.O. (Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine)
Required Additional Requirements Experience Requirements Minimum
Years Required Area of Experience Required/ Preferred and/or 1 Year
Preferred 1 year of successful academic experience in graduate
medical education preferred. State of Florida Licensure
Requirements Licenses Required/ Preferred and/or Medical Doctor DO
Required Required or Current active and unrestricted license to
practice medicine or osteopathic medicine as applicable, in the
State of Florida. Certifications/Registration Requirements
Certificates/Registrations Required/ Preferred and/or Current
certification in internal medicine by the American Board of
Internal Medicine (ABIM) or the American Osteopathic Board of
Internal Medicine (AOBIM) Other Requirements Must meet all of the
requirements for core faculty members set forth in the
Accreditation Counsel for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME)
Program Requirements for Graduate Medical Education in Internal
Medicine Prefer educational and administrative experience
