Job Description:
Lee Health, a renowned leader in community-focused healthcare in
Southwest Florida, is seeking a dedicated and skilled Psychological
Examiner to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be
instrumental in providing psychological assessments and
contributing to the mental wellness of patients across our network
of hospitals and clinics. The Psychological Examiner will work
closely with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality care,
guided by the latest research and methods in psychology. Conduct
comprehensive psychological evaluations and assessments to diagnose
mental, emotional, and behavioral disorders. Collaborate with
healthcare professionals to integrate psychological care with
overall patient treatment plans. Prepare detailed reports and
maintain accurate patient records in accordance with healthcare
regulations. Provide consultation and recommendations regarding
psychological care and treatment. Participate in continuous
education, training, and research to stay abreast of advancements
in psychological testing and assessment. Expertise in administering
psychological tests and assessments. Strong analytical skills to
interpret test results and patient interactions. Excellent
communication skills for effective patient interaction and
collaboration with other healthcare professionals.
Certification/License as a Psychological Examiner or equivalent in
the state of Florida. Certified in Health Insurance Portability and
Accountability Act (HIPAA) compliance.
