Job Description POSITION SUMMARY The Hyperbaric Tech Supervisor
is the designated Safety Officer of the Hyperbaric program as
required by NFPA and TJC. The Hyperbaric Tech Supervisor is
responsible for the overall safe operation of the Hyperbaric Oxygen
Therapy (HBO) program on a daily, weekly and monthly basis. The
Hyperbaric Tech Supervisor utilizes critical thinking skills to
coordinate and ensure that safe quality care is being provided to
the patients. The Hyperbaric Tech Supervisor maintains best
practice by monitoring compliance through the performance
improvement process. They serve as a resource to guide, educate and
orient in the department in collaboration with other departments.

Education: Required: Graduate of Allied Health Program Experience:
1-3 years License: Required Experience: Certified Respiratory
Therapist or Registered Respiratory Therapist (Florida) or
Paramedic (Florida) Certified Hyperbaric Technician (CHT) must be
obtained within 1 year of hire into the position. Certifications:
BLS/CPR (AMERICAN HEART ASSN) ACLS (AMERICAN HEART ASSN) PALS
(AMERICAN HEART ASSN) Safety Director Training Certificate
completed within 90 days of hire LI-TK1 Tenet complies with
federal, state, and/or local laws regarding mandatory vaccination
of its workforce. If you are offered this position and must be
vaccinated under any applicable law, you will be required to show
proof of full vaccination or obtain an approval of a religious or
medical exemption prior to your start date. If you receive an
exemption from the vaccination requirement, you will be required to
submit to regular testing in accordance with the law.
