Job Description:

Treatment Coordinators are responsible for coordinating the relationship with the patient full-circle thereby contributing to the positive patient experience. You must successfully secure financial options based on the clinical treatment. Your focus will be in prioritizing daily activities, using available resources to ensure you are a large part of the overall solvency of the practice, always following our mission of Healthy, Happy, Here for yourself, team members, clients and patients. As a Treatment Coordinator you must exhibit professional flexibility and excellent organization skills. The Treatment Coordinator in this position regularly and consistently demonstrates knowledge of Onsite Dental's industry and works closely with our internal team, as well as external clients and vendors. The Treatment Coordinator performs his/her duties under the direction of the Practice Manager and is expected to support the Practice Manager as it relates to all duties as assigned, both included and not included in this position description. Role Accountability & Key Competencies Maintain successful, complete treatment schedules Discuss and prepare financial arrangements with patients Utilize computer reports to track treatment reports, accounts receivable Participate in team huddle meetings each morning to go over the day's needs and goals Gathers patient insurance and payment information for services rendered. Knowledge in various insurance plans, exclusions and limitations Manage consultation reports and progress Effectively communicates any changes of the services to the Practice Manager Demonstrates knowledge, understanding and the ability to troubleshoot Monitor patient progress and report patient status to the attending doctor Knowledge of front office functions and dental terminology Actively participate as a contributing member of the office staff team to achieve patient satisfaction and solvency of the practice Must have excellent communication skills and willingness to offer "white glove" service Excellent work ethic and enjoy working with patients Able to embrace the culture of the clients we serve as well as Onsite Dental mission and culture Role Qualifications Education and experience equivalent to a College/University Associate's degree in a business or dental related field and typically one (1) to three (3) years or more of relevant work experience as an office manager in a dental practice. Demonstrates knowledge of Microsoft Office, basic computer skills and our cloud based computer system, Denticon Ability to solve problems by applying basic knowledge and technology. Ability to troubleshoot dental systems and technology with the assistance of the IT Department to maintain continuous services in the event of a system issue. Demonstrates professional development by participating and seeking out higher-level, innovative training opportunities Demonstrates a positive attitude, self-motivation, organization, and resourcefulness while maintaining a reputation through proven action of being team oriented and willing to assist where/when needed. Exceptional communication skills with the ability to demonstrate these skills in both face-to-face and electronic formats including but not limited to telephone and email systems with special attention to detail and accuracy.
