Welcome to Lawton Business Solutions,Our client is looking for motivated earners who enjoy independent physical work in the water meter industry. - We will train you, provide tools and pay excellent wages. - -We will train you at $15.00 per hour. - After training you will be paid by production. - -Expected pay for proficient technicians should exceed $260.00 per day. - -Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Installation of new residential water meters, fittings and gaskets.
• Recording old and new water meter readings.
• Verification of proper installation/transmission of new meter data by utilizing tablet PC or smartphone.
• Coordinates installation scheduling and meets quality/quantity and safety requirements.
• Provide for excellence in internal and external customer service. Create a positive experience for customers, water users and communities through professional and courteous behavior and producing high quality results.
• JOB SUMMARY FOR METER TECHNICIAN:
• Perform a variety of skilled and semi-skilled tasks involving the use of different hand tools, power tools, and maintenance equipment to retrofit, replace, and repair meters.
• Work includes removal of old meter, installation of new meters, and retrofitting existing meters.
• Load/Unload trucks and materials when needed.
• Data collection is required via iPad
• RESPONSIBILITIES FOR METER TECHNICIAN:
• Must be able to prioritize and manage a work schedule
• Must be able to have excellent customer service skills when interacting with a customer
• Must be able to work in enclosed and/or tight spaces
• Must be able to work in various weather conditions
• Must be able to lift/move up to 50 pounds
• REQUIRED EXPERIENCE FOR METER TECHNICIAN:
• Current Driver's License
• OSHA 10 (we can provide training)Essential Skills & Qualifications:
  • Minimum of one-year field experience in plumbing or water meter installation preferred.
  • Working knowledge of plumbing and water distribution systems.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong ability to use a keyboard and word processing, handheld tablet or other application software as required for the position.
  • Ability to create and maintain the highest levels of confidentiality when dealing with proprietary information and sensitive situations.
  • Able to work with minimum supervision.
  • Able to stand on feet, bend or stoop for a prolonged period of time. Some of the work is performed outdoors and through inclement weather as necessary.
  • Able to carry out duties in a safe and efficient manner.Compensation/Benefits:
